Scope Of Work

ALCOHOL PURCHASE POLICY

In the state of South Carolina, state law requires that clients purchase all alcohol separately from our services. At no time will Wanderlust Libations purchase or own alcohol on your behalf.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION POLICY

Wanderlust Libations requires that all alcohol at an event be served exclusively from our bars and by our bartenders. Guests may bring their own alcohol; however, it must be served by a Wanderlust TIPS-licensed bartender. If alcohol is consumed at an event without being served by one of our bartenders, Wanderlust’s liability insurance is waived, and the host assumes direct responsibility for any resulting incidents. Wanderlust ensures that no underage guests consume alcohol from the bar. Bartenders will use discretion to cease serving patrons who are visibly intoxicated, behaving inappropriately, or posing a danger to themselves or others. Wanderlust enforces a No Shots Policy. Please note: Self-Serve (Drop Packages) are not covered by our Liquor Liability Insurance. Hosts are responsible for securing special event coverage if desired.

START/STOP TIME POLICY

Wanderlust Libations adheres to strict start and end times as specified in the contracted beverage service agreement. The bar will not serve alcohol before the agreed start time and will close promptly at the designated end time. If you wish to serve early-arriving guests before the official event start, please plan accordingly. This policy ensures compliance with venue requirements, proper staffing, and efficient setup. Beverage service times can be adjusted up to 48 hours prior to the event date, with contract revisions digitally approved by the host. Additional fees may apply for extended bar service hours. Hosts are responsible for ensuring compliance with venue-specific timing requirements.

TRASH REMOVAL POLICY

Unless otherwise arranged, Wanderlust Libations is not responsible for disposing of event trash, including bar-related items such as cups, bottles, and cans. If your venue lacks on-site trash disposal, we can remove trash generated by our bar services for a $100 fee. This service does not include food or catering-related trash.

WATER/NON-ALCOHOLIC POLICY

Wanderlust Libations packages do not include water or non-alcoholic beverages for general consumption. Sodas and juices provided are for cocktail mixing only. Hosts wishing to offer additional beverages must arrange this as an add-on. Water service for dining tables must be coordinated through your caterer. We do not provide ice, cups, or beverage dispensers for caterers or client beverage stations, nor do we manage these stations during the event.

ADDITIONAL KEG HANDLING FEE POLICY

For events requiring more than six kegs, an additional handling fee of $35 per keg will apply. For larger gatherings, six kegs may not suffice. We’ll store, chill, and manage additional kegs during your event to ensure a seamless experience. Groups exceeding 75 guests may require multiple keg handling fees; please plan your budget accordingly.

ICE POLICY

Wanderlust Libations provides sufficient ice for all contracted bar services, including chilling kegs, bottled beverages, and cocktail/mocktail needs. Ice for non-contracted purposes, such as catering or buffet stations, is not included unless separately arranged.

FLAT SURFACE & CURB POLICY

Wanderlust Libations requires a flat surface for bar setup and sufficient clearance for loading and unloading. Bars cannot be set up on slanted or uneven surfaces. Access must be free of curbs, stairs, or other obstructions. Ensure adequate clearance through gates or entryways to avoid service delays or disruptions.

BAR RELOCATION POLICY

As a mobile bar company, our bars are designed to be moved before setup. Once the bar is placed and setup begins, it cannot be relocated except in emergencies. Moving the bar after setup may disrupt service and cause issues such as foamy kegs. Please carefully consider bar placement when planning your event layout.

ADDITIONAL STAFFING POLICY

Wanderlust Libations bartenders are responsible for bar setup, service during contracted times, and breakdown. They will not perform duties outside of this scope. Two bartenders are provided for up to 150 guests. For larger groups, additional bartenders are required at a rate of one per 75 additional guests. Failure to notify us of increased guest counts may result in longer wait times and potential product shortages. Wanderlust may verify guest counts with your caterer prior to the event.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Wanderlust Libations provides services rain or shine, but a rain plan must be in place to ensure staff and bar safety. Bartenders will not serve in inclement weather without proper coverage, such as a 20x20 covered space. If no rain plan is implemented, services may be canceled without refund.
